OUR VISION
We prayerfully strive to honestly reflect Jesus' earthly mission. In the book of Matthew (Chapter 11 verse 28, 29 & 30), Jesus calls to people "Come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
In a nutshell, this is why we exist; to display this Jesus, in our words and lives, to the burdened and tired souls around us. Our hope? That we will follow Jesus together, find rest in His care, and live as He calls us.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Rev. Aaron Lira:
Aaron was born in Elgin, IL, which is in the Chicago area and has two believing parents who raised him going to Church, and with the knowledge of the Lord and His Word. He began seriously walking with the Lord early in college. He began to serve as Pastor of Crosspointe in September 2020.
Prior to serving Crosspointe, Aaron served as Assistant Pastor of two churches in the Chicago area after being ordained to Gospel ministry in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) in 2013. In addition to pastoral ministry, he taught in the Bible Department of Westminster Christian School for five years. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL with his BA in Bible and Pastoral Studies, as well as Reformed Theological Seminary, Charlotte, NC with his M.Div.
In his spare time, Aaron enjoys coffee, reading, spending time with friends, being outdoors and road trips.
OUR COMMUNITY
We are active in our community by hosting an annual yard sale.
We participate in fundraising walks like the BRIDGE TO RECOVERY WALK and the CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOWSHIP WALK-A-THON.
We actively support local organisations like the Delaware County Pregnancy Center...
